TERMS OF SERVICE

You can sign in to VJ Studio using an email magic link or Google OAuth. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately at hello@vj.studio.

You must be at least 13 years old to use VJ Studio. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

You keep ownership. Any audio you upload and any video we generate for you remains yours. We do not sell, publish, or distribute your content.

Limited license to us. By using VJ Studio, you grant us a limited license to process your audio file for the sole purpose of generating your visualization. VJ Studio renders on your own Mac — your audio file is processed locally on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.

You must have rights. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to any audio you upload. Do not upload content you do not own or have permission to use.

VJ Studio offers two plans: Free and Pro. Free gives you unlimited renders of any length at 720p, with a VJ Studio watermark on your videos. Pro removes the watermark, renders at 1080p, and adds multi-format export. The current plans and what each one includes are always listed on our pricing page.

Billing. Pro is currently $69 per year, billed annually through Stripe. There is no monthly billing option. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the price shown at checkout.

Auto-renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.

Cancellation. You can cancel your subscription at any time: sign in and use the Manage Plan button on your dashboard. You will retain Pro access until the end of the current billing period, then revert to the Free plan.

Changes to plans and pricing. We may change what our plans include or what they cost. If we increase your price or reduce what your plan includes, we will email you at least 30 days before the change takes effect — for a price increase, before your next renewal, so you have time to cancel first. Neither takes effect mid-billing-period.

Refunds. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at hello@vj.studio.

VJ Studio is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will meet your specific expectations.

Liability limit. To the maximum extent permitted by law, VJ Studio's total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

The VJ Studio name, logo, website, and software are owned by Super Small Company, LLC. All rights reserved.

VJ Studio's visualization engine is built on ProjectM, an open-source project licensed under LGPL-2.1. Visual presets are created by community artists and remain the property of their respective creators. See our Credits & Licenses page for details.

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. For significant changes that affect your rights, we will notify you by email.

Continued use of VJ Studio after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with applicable US federal and state law.

If you are located in the European Union, nothing in these terms affects your rights under applicable EU consumer protection laws, including the GDPR.

If you believe content on VJ Studio infringes your copyright, contact us at hello@vj.studio with:
